Job Description:

The Brand and Marketing Manager at TheStudio will be responsible for the full-scale implementation of our brand voice throughout all facets of customer facing communications including, but not limited to: website copy, transactional email copy, marketing email copy, blogs and other marketing collateral. The ideal candidate should be able to fully embrace and personify the brand voice and also contribute to defining, adjusting, or setting the brand voice guidelines when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in marketing, branding and/or advertising
  • Flawless english composition skills
  • Major in marketing, advertising, communications, or entrepreneurship
  • Minimum 2 years experience writing copy in the marketing/branding space with a relevant degree or 4 years experience writing copy in a similar context without a relevant degree. For both, we will want to see portfolio of your past work
  • Motivated and able to work in an extremely demanding and fast-paced environment a must
  • Accessible and available at all times in case of urgent requests must be reachable via Slack, email or text within a few hours’ notice
  • Able to turn around projects in half the time a normal copywriter would while maintaining quality levels
  • Can easily switch from a solo contributor to a collaborator role when necessary
  • Understands best time/day to send an email blast around certain subjects and is able to test those theories constantly while minimizing impact of testing on core profits
  • Can design effective email layout and usage of CTAs
  • Can templatize emails properly for efficiency
  • How to interpret data feedback correctly and expertise on how to adjust components that directly affect those metrics/inform A/B tests for that
  • Has a firm grasp of best practices on email frequency
  • Is well-versed in best practices email fields and knows how to push boundaries while maximizing value for email recipients
