OVERVIEW

Description

The Social Media Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a global social media strategy for Switcher that reinforces our brand and values and showcases the stories of our community and team. This individual will strategically grow and develop the brand through innovative content and experiences, creating unique and compelling activations to draw people to engage with Switcher on social media channels. Working closely with influencer marketing and community management, the Social Media Manager will ensure public organic social content and campaigns align with these functions. This job requires a combination of creative and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Produce engaging and shareable social media content showcasing the stories of Switcher’s team and community including organizing and hosting livestreams
  • Grow engagement in the form of followers, likes and shares across Switcher’s key social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Manage and work with the team to look for ways social media can support wider campaigns
  • Identify trending topics for content opportunities and develop a content calendar to ensure a constant supply of relevant content
  • Use social listening discovery data to inform and share topics and themes of relevance
  • Work with the team to devise creative and impactful campaigns that help build a sense of community, expand brand awareness, grow our subscriber base and set us apart from our competition
  • Track and measure performance of the social channel in relation to corporate objectives and adjust program as needed

Requirements

  • At least 3 years experience in organic/user-generated content social media strategy and execution
  • Proven track record of growing followers and engagement across multiple social media platforms
  • Experience developing brands across social media
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and competing priorities while delivering quality and timely content
  • Expert knowledge of social media networks, their distinct audiences, and how best to leverage them
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills
  • Strong on-camera presence and personality
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned annual/quarterly goals and targets
  • Live and breathe social and cultural trends and be a fountain of knowledge when it comes to social platforms, viral campaigns, emerging conversations, brands, tools and social insights
  • Deep understanding of social media tracking and analytics
  • Experience with social media management tools (i.e. Falcon, Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social)
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Bonus: experience with Switcher Studio or like product
  • Bonus: fluent in Spanish
